23:26

A reasonably relaxing day. Up at about 10:00. Went with Jan to take the beer keg from the wedding reception back to the liquor place at Travis Air Force Base. We drove through the unseasonal rain (everyone keeps reminding me just how unseasonal it is...).

We came back here and Laurel, Scott, and Erick arrived from the motel. Then Jan drove me and Scott out to Nations for a hamburger lunch. Most large and yummy cheeseburgers, with three slices of cheese each! Then we went to Travis Air Force Base again to check out the Air Museum. It was pretty good, and we spent a whole couple of hours there perusing the exhibits. They had a real B-52 bomber parked outside, along with about twenty other old military planes and helicopters. Most impressive. Inside were various other things, including a MiG engine from a captured Soviet fighter, an Iraqi AA gun captured during Desert Storm, and a replica of the Fat Man atomic bomb dropped on Nagasaki. Signed the visitor's book, which had lots of people from Japan, Germany, England, and one from Russia, but only me from Oz.

We came back and had lasagne, garlic bread, and salad for dinner. Must yummy. Food is good. Then Laurel drove me and Joyce to the Fairfield Arts Centre for a concert by the Brigham Young Wind Symphony, from Brigham Young University at Salt Lake City, Utah. It was a good concert.

Back here, some TV veging. Time for sleep. Terry and Allison get back from Yosemite tomorrow, and I head for San Jose and Mandelbear's place.
