[no time recorded]

Co-op, doing laundry... it's in the dryer now.

Last night was pretty veg. Dinner at the co-op (yummy fettuccine and eggplant/tomato/cheesy things and broccoli) then Star Trek for the next three hours! All Borg episodes. Much relaxing.

This morning it's on with laundry, breakfast (kasha), then later I'll vanish to the Square and let Elena study. I also have to think about repacking my bag for the flight tomorrow. I'll do that after the laundry is done. Boy, did I ever buy a lot of junk here in Boston! I'm not sure it's all going to fit.

Stupid cold/whatever it is still hanging around. I get to infect another state of the USA before I get rid of it. There are still a few things I wanted to see in Boston. The Bull & Finch pub (setting for Cheers) and the John Hancock Observatory lookout thingy in the big office building. Next time, I guess!

13:04

Laundry done. Oh, before I forget, something I noticed yesterday in Harvard Yard while I was walking through in the morning. There were people going around tying balloons to all the buildings and to lamp posts and stuff. Jollity for the first day of exams here. There are still some of them hanging around today.

Back to today. Finished my laundry while finding the number for Continental Airlines and reconfirming my flight for tomorrow. All okay. Elena says we should leave 09:00-06:30-ish. I'll have to call Allison still at some stage. And repack my bag!

This morning after I left Elena to study, I wandered Harvard Square. Checked out some SF places, bought two cheap Suzanne Vega CDs, and ordered a 1:100,000 survey map of Boston from the Globe Bookstore. It should be in from their other store this afternoon. Met Elena at noon for lunch at Stockpot. She had a thick vege soup and a fudge cake slice. I had Cuban chicken soup and mushroom quiche. The most cheesy and least eggy quiche I've ever seen!

Elena has left for her exam. I tried calling Merrill's room but nobody was in. Maybe she's off looking for a summer room again, poor girl. Perhaps time to try again...

17:30

No luck. Came back to Elena's to shower, change, pack my bag for tomorrow. Tried Merrill again, go Shana. Told her Elena and I would be around some time. Wandered over to the Centre for Astrophysics and had a quick look at the building. Back to the Square for a hot sesame bagel, lemonade, and relaxing at Au Bon Pain. Went to pick up my map and came back here to be warm. It is suddenly very cold outside!
