Here I am at Au Bon Pain again. Finishing off the last of yesterday's bagels. This is a good place to stop and rest and write. I think the whole world walks through Harvard Square.
Now, shall I pick up where I left off yesterday?
I left Au Bon Pain for the Co-op. Shaved, showered, and ironed my good shirt for the Dudley House Senior Dinner. It was actually for all the House, not just the co-op people. At the dinner, the Housemaster sat right next to me and asked fun things like, "What's your name?" and "So, are you graduating this year?" Elena bailed me out with the explanation. The dinner was okay and the award presentations afterwards much too long...
We went back to Elena's, where she started revising her paper. I called Merrill to see if she was busy and ended up popping over to Adams House for a while. Carl was there, playing along to some Celtic music with a drum-thing. Cynthia emerged from her room - it was great seeing her again. I gave Merrill an opal rock and Cynthia chose the koala patch when I gave her a free choice of trinkets.
Shana showed up and then Tox came over (yow, the two are going out together!). Shana fed the kitten a disgusting mix of cat food and water, after Merrill had successfully immobilised it with a towel. Oh, did I mention the fridge? And the cleaning thereof? And the dip Merrill finally threw out - the one Cynthia said she'd recommended be thrown out before spring break?? Or the rampaging grapefruit?
Carl and Merrill both played along with the music using flute/recorder things. Nicely out of tune with both the music and each other. Merrill made Cynthia some rabbit ears with pinstripes. I took the photos. Should be fun. We had a minor tickle fight, which was cool. Some hugs, which were nice.
Eventually I left and went back to the co-op. Elena was asleep - but she got up early this morning to finish revising. This done, we breakfasted and wandered here-wards. She logged in at the Science Centre and I checked my e-mail while she want back to the music library for work.

Now, time for me to wander Cambridge until after lunch, when Elena has some free time!
Ah, Cambridge, Massachusetts! Frozen yoghurt capital of the known universe!
[These are more entries written by people I met on this trip.]
Brattle Square... (Pretend that this is in purple!) My first RealSpace - thanks for being the catalyst! Street musicians, after wandering through lots of toys - Fox in Sox - great to match up faces to log in names. Happiness will prevail! - Mike Holmes.
I'm not exactly sure what to say - most of the "profound" things I say on the net are responses! But "off the cuff" - well... It i really great to meet you and some of the area Callahanians I keep meaning to contact, and I'm having even more fun than I expected to! I hope I get to see you again before you leave the Boston area. - Rachel, the little red-headed girl.
Michael the Chaotic is telling a particularly obnoxious sounding joke, the street musicians are packing up their instruments... it's a Callahanian RealSpace in Harvard Square. Sure is neat to see what all thes epeople actualy look like. We should do this more often. Sorry about the organisational difficulties! - Chip Olson (Castellan)
Even more bad jokes and worse puns - and you're as bad as any! But this is still a really great way to meet Callahanians - you make a marvellous catalyst for a RealSpace(TM)! - Merlinvin, aka Ed Schweppe.
Bad puns abound! And I can't believe I forgot my cards! Again! Another great Boston RealSpace for Wayne (aka Wildcard) and Donna.
Well, um, like, so, gosh, heck, darn, shoot, what can I say> I have this urge to put down "42", but that's too obvious. So I guess I'll just say that this has been fun, and I hope you haven't gotten sick of me yet (hmm, was that self-deprecating? Naaah). - Michael, the Chaotic. Disclaimer: oops, sorry, I thought this was a post.
Ok, give me a pen, give me paper, and ask me to write something. No pressure on me. What can I say... This is my first RealSpace. In fact, I've only been in Callahans for a few months,. One of my first and most vivid memories of Callahans was my first messages from some dude named Danger Mouse. Well, thanks for making my first few days great. It's been great to meet you and everyone else). Thanks for coming to Boston! Take Care! Biotic Girandole/Bob.

After lunch I visited Merrill's room for a bit. Went back to Elena's around 14:00, where she was printing up her paper. We walked to the Celtic Department building to hand it in. Then to Massachusetts Army Navy store to get a flight jacket for her dad and to the post office to mail it. Back to the co-op where Elena studied and I napped until 18:00. She went to the housing meeting while I showered for the RealSpace dinner.
We went to Chef Chow's - meeting Merrill on the way. Bunches of random people showed up and finally all were there. The food was great, and plentiful! We ate heartily, then retired to Herrell's for ice cream - cramming into the old bank vault and driving out a few normal people while we were at it. Ice cream disposed of, we crowded in the for some photos. Elena and Merrill disappeared and the rest of us browsed through the local educational TV station store. Much fun - and puns!
We headed to Brattle Square just in time to catch the last song by a street group before they packed up for the night. I got the gang to write in here. Then it was group hugs and goodbye time. I went back to the co-op and crashed.
