21:39

Tomorrow it's up at 01:30 for the 02:00 departure for Las Vegas. We expect to be there by 15:00. We are leaving so early to avoid a lot of the heat of the day whilst driving through the desert.

I rose late this morning, about 09:00. Allison's mum made pancakes for breakfast. Then I basically lazed around the house all day. The furthest I ventured was out on to the back patio for a while to clip my finger and toe nails.

Lunch was roast beef sandwich and dinner was chicken and wild rice with salad, corn on the cob, and sourdough rolls. Yummy! And that's about all there is to say about today.

I'll be going home soon - Thursday morning to be precise. It will be good to get home, but also sad to leave here. I can't wait to see the familiar faces and places again. And to talk to my friends. I wonder how Gina will react to the hearts Allison has been drawing on my postcards. (She did another one which I mailed from Beverly Hills).

Well, time to sleep. It's an early rise tomorrow. I am constantly being run off my feet over here. I can barely find the energy at the end of each day to scratch a few lines in here.

[I didn't take any photos on this day.]
