23:21

I am at Allison's aunt (her mother's sister) and uncle's place tonight. Lauren and Rich, and their two kids Gregg and Erick. Nice folks, except Rick is a very enthusiastic talker!

We basically cleaned the house up this morning for the impending arrival of Allison's mum and dad home from Iowa. We went to pick them up from Oakland Airport at 13:50. Directly after dropping them home and having some nuked El Dorado casserole and yesterday's potato salad for late lunch, we left for here - which is a place called Morgan Hill, which is somewhere south of San Jose.

After playing a bit of Nintendo Tetris and eating a nice dinner of roast beef, mashed potatoes, macadamia salad(!), and hot rolls; Allison, the kids, and I drove out to Mervyn's so Allison could see if the sale priced pot of artificial flowers that she wanted for her new apartment was there. It was. I also saw an amazingly cute Siamese stuffed toy cat. It would be perfect for Gina.

Speaking of whom, I sent postcards today to Gina, Kim and Debby, and AnnB. Also the letters for Denise and D. And my second roll of film for processing.

Well, time for sleep. I need to be up at 07:00 tomorrow for the Monterey Bay Aquarium!

[I didn't take any photos on this day either.]
