York 1. v.i. (of a bowler) to bowl a yorker at the batsman.
2. v.i. (of a bowler) to get a batsman out - usually bowled - with a yorker.

Yorker 1. n. a ball bowled so as to bounce on the pitch on or near the batsman's popping crease.
