Friday started with packing stuff into Allison's car and waiting for Terry to get home from, of all places, right here in Fairfield. I watched Gentlemen Prefer Blondes and part of Wayne's World before it was time to leave. We drove out to Allison's parents' place, where her dad sprung for super-burritos for lunch from Burrito Palace. Much yumminess. (Do you have this strange feeling of déjà-vu??? Actually, we had sandwiches for lunch on this day.)
Allison's aunt Laurel and her dog Gus were there too. Allison, Terry, and I went out to the Mall to get money and pick up some tuxedos for the groom and groomsmen. Some drama when they discovered the formal hire place had lost one of the guys' measurements...
We went to the church for the wedding rehearsal at 18:00. Everyone who mattered was there except for the best man, who couldn't make it since he was busy being remeasured for a tux. The rehearsal went okay and was over pretty quickly. Then we all went off to a pizza place, where Terry's parents were springing for dinner. More yumminess. Allison and Terry gave out gifts to the bridal party, and also gave me one just for showing up! The Cartoon Guide to Physics, which I suspect is now on its way to Yosemite in Allison's car... [on their honeymoon trip]
After dinner and setting up tables at the reception place, I left with the guys of the bridal party for Scandia's fun centre. We played a bunch of video games, and then went to the go-kart track. That was really fun! Those things handle amazingly well and the sensation of high speed is wonderful.
Then we came back here to the motel, where I had a room with Terry, Steve (Chantal's husband), and Hugh. We watched some TV and joked around. Hugh's girlfriend dropped by for a visit, which caused some mirth. Finally fell asleep.
