Written a day later

I arrived okay, was swept home by Allison, Tina, and Tina's boyfriend Kane (only spelt differently because he's Vietnamese), slept solid until about 11:30 on Sunday, went driving with Allison to the MALL, her flat (Colleen was out), and around Fairfield (up to Twin Sisters for a panorama of Fairfield), then came home and had Mandarin Chinese food (brunch was sweet roll (erk!) and eggs and bacon bits on toast) for dinner, then watched The Simpsons and Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan before crashing for the night.

[A thing which Allison did during this trip was make a large calendar poster, showing all the days I spent in California, in rows of seven boxes for a week. On each day she drew text and pictures with coloured felt-tip markers, showing what we did on that day. At the end of the trip, she gave the calendar to me to take home. I kept it for some time, but unfortunately seem to have lost it somewhere over the intervening years.]
