I've been here twice, and each time come away faintly disappointed. It's a family-run Italian place and looks comfortable and homey, so that you want to like it and expect the food might be better than the slightly shabby decorations. But ultimately the meals are nothing better than average.

They do pastas and salads and a variety of traditional Italian main courses, but there always seems to be a certain spark missing from the cooking. It's not bad, but it feels like the sort of Italian food you could make at home yourself with a packet from the supermarket.

If you're looking for good Italian food, I'd recommend Bravo just a few doors up Falcon St or Pino's over on Willoughby Rd instead.
