I remember when this place opened a few years ago, so it's relatively new, but has became something of a Crows Nest establishment. It's a casual diner style place that takes orders from a large menu of variously Asian stir-fries and noodle dishes that are illustrated on glossy backlit transparencies. Within seconds a chef is whipping up your idea while you find a spare seat, either at a table inside or, for preference, at the stools that give you a view over a counter out to bustling Willoughby Road. If you want a drink, grab a can from the fridge before giving and paying for your order.

I like to get the stir-fried noodle dishes, variously described with simple names like "stir-fried noodles with beef" or "stir-fried noodles with chicken". There's also crispy noodle dishes, soups, and various meat and vegetable dishes served with rice.

The food arrives quickly, in generously large bowls. It comes with chopsticks, but you can grab silverware from a self-serve tray, and grab some chili or soy sauce while you're there. It's fast, generous, delicious, and cheap. And it's open and popular for lunch too. They'll also do take-away orders.
