Umpire 1. n. one of the two officials who preside over a cricket match, making decisions concerning events in the game.
2. v.i. to act as an umpire in a game.

Unbeaten 1. n. a synonym for not out.

Unorthodox Spin 1. n. a synonym for wrist spin.

Up 1. adv. (of a ball's bounce) to bounce on the pitch relatively close to the batsman, so that the ball bounces low as it passes the batsman; synonym of full; opposite of short. The bowler pitched the ball up.
